The Bond Promise in Progress
Numerous projects were already completed in 2023 and 2024. Projects for 2025 (primarily in summer) include:
- Completion of the new Cornelius Elementary School
- Dilley Elementary (phase 2) - HVAC control upgrades and new pre-K classroom
- Echo Shaw Elementary - campus renovations, pre-K classroom
- Fern Hill Elementary - campus renovations, pre-K addition
- Harvey Clarke Elementary - campus renovations, pre-K classroom
- Neil Armstrong Middle School (phase 2) - HVAC, restroom upgrades, seismic retrofits, new gym flooring, turf field lighting, hallway painting and signage
- Forest Grove High School - main office and security updates, renovations to commons restrooms
- New playgrounds - Harvey Clarke, Dilley, and Echo Shaw Elementary Schools, and Tom McCall Upper Elementary School
- Districtwide dark fiber network installation

Bond Approved by Voters
On November 8, 2022, Forest Grove School District voters supported the District's $121.9 million capital construction bond to provide necessary improvements as an investment in our students' future.
Safety and security

- New secure entry vestibule at Neil Armstrong Middle School
- Fire safety improvements
- Seismic upgrades
Repair and Update Aging School Buildings
- Electrical, roofing, flooring, lighting, plumbing
- New HVAC to improve air quality

Provide Early Childhood Education
- Ensure capacity for one Pre-K classroom at every elementary school
Expand Hands-On Learning and Student Opportunities

- Replace Cornelius Elementary School, built in 1945, with a modern school
