Title 1A Services

The purpose of Title I, Part A is to provide all children a significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education and help ensure that all children meet challenging academic standards. By providing additional resources, the program is intended to help close the opportunity gaps and thus the achievement gap that some students experience.

Schoolwide programs funded under Title I, Part A offer the opportunity to invest in strategies that help all students, because all students in a schoolwide program can be served. While many schools target services to the most in-need students, a schoolwide program allows for the implementation of tiered supports addressing student needs at every level.

The following documents (CIP Plans) give a detailed look at the schoolwide plans implemented for each of our Title 1, Part A schools in the Forest Grove School District. These plans are updated annually to meet the needs of students.

If you need additional information on Title 1, Part A services in our schools, please contact the individual schools or the district’s Title 1, Part A Coordinator, Alaina Santana.
