Who is eligible? School-aged children are generally eligible for Summer EBT 2024 if: The household already participates in SNAP, TANF or the Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid); or
The child attends a school that offers the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP). Also, their household income must meet the requirements for free or reduced-price school meals; or
The child attends a school that offers the NSLP or SBP and the child is: Enrolled in migrant programs; Experiencing houselessness; Participating in the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations; or Attending Head Start.

How to apply? If your household already participates in SNAP, TANF or the Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) during the 2023-2024 school year, your child will be automatically enrolled in the Summer EBT program. If your child is not automatically enrolled and you believe your child is eligible, you will need to fill out a simple application that will be available starting in summer 2024. Please be sure to check the Summer EBT website at sebt.oregon.gov for more updates. When applying, you will be asked to provide your child’s name, school, date of birth and address. You will also be asked to report your household income. |
