Cornelius Elementary School - Turf Field (2025-2026)

Construction of the synthetic turf field began in summer 2025 with initial grading and was completed in January 2026. The field has already provided Cornelius Elementary students an all-weather area for PE and exercise. The community also benefits from having a recreational resource for youth sports teams.

 

Field lights were installed in summer 2025 as the rest of the campus was completed.
