The Forest Grove School District (FGSD) is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Graham as the new 
Currently, the district’s alternative learning falls into one of three categories: CALC for those individuals who are looking for a different option to learning; online academy for those who prefer to learn online; those individuals who have experienced incidents involving school discipline. In total, there are approximately 161 individuals who are involved in learning programs outside of the high school.
The district will be restructuring the direction and expanding the offerings of its alternative programing. These students, as well as additional students, need the flexibility to meet their learning needs. There are a certain number of students who have various life circumstances that necessitate an expanded program which delivers options to fit their needs; whether that be a need to work and go to school, a need for a smaller environment, learning digitally or other circumstances. Mr. Graham is tasked with creating a new vision for these students and to match learning opportunities to their unique circumstances and needs.
"I am excited for the opportunity to come to the community of Forest Grove to serve alongside the outstanding group of educators in the Forest Grove School District,” Mr. Graham said when asked about his new position. “I am eager to begin working with the staff at CALC to create additional layers of support, opportunities and options for high school students."
Graham has served as the Principal at the Catalyst High School in Newberg since 2017. Prior to his time in Newberg, he was the principal of the Oregon City Service Learning Academy for seven years. He has also served as middle school and elementary school principal in the St. Helens, Sheridan and St. Paul school districts and as a classroom teacher in the Newberg and St. Paul school districts.
Mr. Graham received a Bachelors of Science in Social Studies from George Fox University in 1990 and a Masters of Education from George Fox University in 1998. He also holds his Administrative Licensure from George Fox University.

Graham se ha desempeñado como director en Catalyst High School en Newberg desde 2017.
