Please Note: Fee Waiver Requests will not be accepted until the Director of Communications has determined the volume of records responsive to the request. The Fee Waiver Request form must be filled out completely. Please complete the form below.

HOW TO USE THIS FORM

FGSD has fee waiver provisions for people including members of the news media, non-profit organizations, and federal, state and local governments. The state public records law [ORS 192.440 (4) and (5)] says an agency may waive fees for information provided in response to public record requests if the fee reduction is in the public interest.

FGSD will use the information contained in this form to evaluate whether the public interest outweighs the burden of providing the records with regard to staff time.

Before requesting a fee waiver, please work with the Director of Communications to narrow your request to only the information that is essential.

The District requires that the requesting party fill out this form completely.
