New Principal Selected at Joseph Gale for the 2019-2020 School Year

The Forest Grove School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Troy Fisher as the new Principal of Joseph Gale Elementary. Mr. Fisher will begin his role July 1, 2019.

Mr. Fisher comes to Joseph Gale Elementary from Newberg Public Schools where he was the principal at Antonia Crater and Mabel Rush Elementary schools for six years. Prior to his time in Newberg, Fisher was principal at Brooklyn Elementary in Baker City, Oregon. Before his time as an administrator, Mr. Fisher was an elementary school teacher in the Pleasant Hill, Monument and Paisley school districts.

"I am very excited to join Joseph Gale Elementary and the Forest Grove School District,” said Mr. Fisher.  “I look forward to partnering with all students, parents and staff at Joseph Gale as we move forward and grow together." 

Mr. Fisher earned a BS in Elementary Education from Western Oregon University and a M. Ed in Educational Leadership from University of Oregon. He is currently completing his doctorate program in Education at George Fox University. Additionally, Fisher currently holds both a Teaching and a Continuing Administrative License.

The district is excited to welcome Mr. Fisher as part of the team and wishes him well as he begins the next chapter of his career in Forest Grove.
