Forest Grove School District is publishing data on reported positive or presumed positive COVID-19 cases among our students and staff. This data is collected internally by our health staff and is reported to Oregon Health Authority. To protect the privacy of those involved, no names will be released. The data is provisional and subject to change as additional test results are received and public health investigations proceed. Data will be updated each Friday.
District Active Cases
A student or staff member who tests positive or is presumed positive must isolate at home for at least 10 days since symptoms started AND until fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication AND other symptoms have improved. A presumptive positive case is defined as an individual who has at least two COVID-19 symptoms (shortness of breath, cough, fever, or new loss of smell or taste); has not had a positive COVID-19 viral test; AND had close contact with a confirmed case in the past 14 days.
